Render Using allows you to choose what renderer you want to use to export your project.Render Layer should always be set to “masterLayer”.At the top there are two options which allow you to choose what and with what to render your project. There are two primary ways to do this in Maya, via a Batch Render or via a Render Sequence.
Rendering allows you to export your project into an image sequence so that it can be compiled into a video file in another application (likely After Effects).
